Three Counties Radio interviews Mark Rann

1 Apr, 2026

Did you hear our very own Chesham Fringe Festival co-founder, Mark Rann, talking to Kady on Andy Collins’ Three Counties Radio show this morning, as part of the BBC’s Live Comedy Day? Mark books all our comedy and kids’ shows while festival co-founder, Ian Slack, looks after the music and theatre acts.

Putting the ‘ha’ in Chesham

Mark is perhaps more well known for his hugely popular End of the Line Chesham Comedy Club, now entering its 15th year where, alongside attracting big comedy veterans, he’s helped introduce up-and-coming acts who are now household names, such as Aisling Bea, helping to put Chesham firmly on the comedy circuit. It’s thanks to Mark that we’re able to create such a great comedy line-up for you, including the likes of Henning Wehn, Adam Kay, Marcel Lucont, Sophie Duker, Ninia Benjamin and Alex Horne.

And did you know that Mark was awarded a British Empire Medal for his work during COVID? He co-founded The Big Community Take Away, a charitable initiative delivering free meals to those in need, a service that evolved into a registered charity that continues to operate.

With huge thanks to BBC Three Counties for the feature as part of its first celebration of Live Comedy Day!

Listen again here: BBC Three Counties Radio Andy Collins – Make Kady laugh on BBC LIVE comedy day!
You can catch Mark’s interview at around 2:53:30 into the show.
