Big names, big laughs and brilliant music at Chesham Fringe 2026
The secret’s out! We’ve now announced this year’s headline acts for May 2026, and they’re guaranteed to get Chesham buzzing all late May Bank Holiday weekend!
Three exciting headliners
‘Get Connected’ with Stereo MCs, 90s pioneers of UK hip-hop and electronic soul. Expect iconic grooves, hands-in-the-air hits and pure festival joy.
Comedy fans will be delighted with Adam Kay, BAFTA-winning comedian, author and former junior doctor. His laugh-out-loud yet deeply human storytelling, made famous by This Is Going to Hurt, has entertained millions across the globe.
Completing the headline trio is Germany’s funny man, Henning Wehn, taking a break from his “Acid Wehn” tour to host a night of fantastic comedy with some of his favourite friends, delivered with his trademark deadpan charm.
Chesham Fringe shows have a habit of selling out fast so booking early is highly recommended (tickets on the door will cost more, if any are still available).
Beyond the headliners, there are over 60 more acts already on sale, with something for everyone.
Music lovers can sing along with top-class tribute acts Ultimate Green Day and The Ed Sheeran Experience or discover new talent with a high-energy rock night featuring Kerrang! favourites, Matted, supported by local band Clear Air Turbulence and Midlands duo We Three Kings.
Returning Fringe favourites include dub reggae crowd-pleasers Kimosabe and the brilliantly loud and brassy Brass Beats Collective.
Theatre fans can enjoy the frantic, funny and thought-provoking Offgridland, or tap along to jazzy one-man musical comedy Love in Slough.
If you enjoy dance, Euphoria is inspired by a woman’s suffering and desperate collapse into an unrelenting dance. Or on a lighter note, Flamenco Fiesta is coming to the Fringe, suitable for all ages and featured on Strictly!
Local magic man, Dee Riley, returns with his sell out cabaret-style stage show, ‘Magic & Moments’. A familiar face, you might have seen him at Buryfields over the years.
There’s loadsa stuff for kids (and big kids). Try How Curious! An exciting, fun and immersive science show. Olaf Falafel is also back with an hour of really stupid, fabulous, family-friendly fun.
Love a good laugh?
We’ve got you covered with a plethora of the best including Sophie Duker, Ahir Shah, Marcel Lucont and Ninia Benjamin (Queen of Chesham!). Jonny Pelham, Josh Weller and Steve Bugeja will also be performing, with work-in-progress shows.
Plus many more to be announced …
