Comedy

Get ready to laugh until your face hurts! Our comedy programme is bursting with talent, from razor-sharp stand-up to side-splitting sketch shows. Here’s a sneak peek at what’s in store:

🎤 [Insert Comedian Name] – “Work in Progress”
They’ve played to packed houses and now they’re back with brand-new material. Smart, slick, and a little bit savage – this is stand-up at its freshest.

🤣 [Insert Act Name] – “The Awkward Years”
Cringe, chaos, and comedy gold. A solo show about growing pains, failed romances, and the things we wish we’d never said out loud. Relatable? Absolutely.

🎭 [Insert Group Name] – “Sketchy Business”
Fast-paced sketches, characters you’ll love to hate, and more wigs than a costume shop clearance sale. Think Monty Python meets TikTok.

Music

From soulful solos to high-energy bands, our music line-up covers every genre and vibe. Whether you’re into indie, jazz, folk, or funk, there’s something here to get your feet tapping. Check out these featured acts:

🎸 [Insert Artist/Band Name] – “Live & Loud”
Electric guitars, anthemic choruses, and raw energy. This local favourite brings a fresh take on alt-rock with a setlist that demands to be played loud.

🎻 [Insert Artist Name] – “Strings Attached”
A blend of classical technique and contemporary flair, this genre-defying violinist delivers hauntingly beautiful arrangements that will stop you in your tracks.

What's on?

Take a look at who and what's on for this year's Fringe

MUSIC

Last year we were blown away by the likes of Fore Fighters, Let Loose and the legendary Odyssey, with Tony Hadley performing as our ‘secret busker’. In 2025 the acts are shaping up very nicely with so much talent and diversity. We will have rock, indie, pop, jazz, blues, soul, choirs, classical, urban sounds and much more!

COMEDY

What a line up in our inaugural year! Laughter aplenty with sold out shows from Andy Zaltzman, Sophie Duker, our own queen of Chesham Ninia Benjamin and many more who entertained us with established and work in progress sets. Next year we are truly starting to be seen as a pre-curser to the famous Edinburgh Fringe with some top celebrity comedians already booked!

THEATRE

2024 saw a variety of theatrical productions from youth theatre, professional theatre, amdram and the all inclusive performances from Theatre Shed. In 2025 we have already secured award winning plays, musical theatre and ad lib productions.

CABARET

We need more cabaret in our lives!  In our debut year we had performances from Dee Riley creating his magic and mayhem, Singalong with Kirsty and several other weird and wonderful acts. In 2025 there promises to be a full night of cabaret at our newest Fringe venue, Vault 17 along with much more to whet your appetites.

SPOKEN WORD

A real opportunity to learn more about authors, poetry, real life issues and adventures. Our line up in 2024 covered travel, culture, mental health and many more subjects. We can’t wait to see what is going to be part of the 2025 line up.

KIDS SHOWS

There was so much family entertainment in year one including a sold out Elgiva performance from Olaf Falafel, Guitar jam with Rob Lehane Rockschool, a chance to bash those bongos and the fact that many of our venues and shows were not age limited. We aim to increase our options even more in 2025 with the addition of Chesham Library on our venue roster.
